FinRung is designed with privacy as a core principle. All calculations run entirely in your browser — no financial data is ever sent to our servers or any third party.

Data Collection

• We do not collect, store, or transmit your financial data.
• All calculations are performed locally in your web browser.
• No personal information is required to use our tools.
• We do not create accounts or profiles for users of our tools.

Local Storage

FinRung may optionally use your browser's localStorage to save your preferences (such as dark mode settings). This data never leaves your device and can be cleared at any time through your browser settings.

Analytics

We may use privacy-respecting analytics (such as Plausible) that do not use cookies and do not track individual users. These tools provide only aggregate, anonymous data about page views and general usage patterns.

Third-Party Services

FinRung is hosted as a static website on CDN infrastructure (such as Vercel or Cloudflare Pages). These services may collect standard web server logs (IP address, browser type, referring page) as part of their normal operation. We do not control this data collection.

Cookies

FinRung does not set any cookies. If analytics tools are used, they are cookieless by design.

GDPR & CCPA Compliance

Because we do not collect personal data, FinRung is inherently compliant with GDPR (EU General Data Protection Regulation) and CCPA (California Consumer Privacy Act). There is no personal data to access, delete, or port.
